(Soon to be) Princess Kate

We all knew the day would come when Prince William would get engaged. I'm not really sad about this, I always thought Harry was better looking. I have become obsessed with this in the past 2 days. I had the misfortune of being born after Princess Di's wedding, so I missed getting up at 2 in the morning to watch it. When William and Kate's big day comes, I'll definitely be up to catch the nuptials. I think Kate Middleton is absolutely beautiful. The girl has got style! She dons many hats (literally, not figuratively) which I absolutely love, as previously posted.

Here are some pictures of Kate's style. She will be a beautiful bride and princess.

I think it's so sweet William gave Kate his mother's engagement ring.

Cute jacket! LOVE the beret!

There are no words for this hat.

Cute!

Gorgeous dress, yet she still looks like she's just the girl next door.

Um, hello! Summer? You need to leave!

I would like to preface this post with an apology. I apologize if I sound like I'm whining because I normally hate when people complain about the weather, or gush on and on about it. I especially hate when it's on Facebook. BUT, with that being said: I'M SO FREAKING READY FOR COLD WEATHER!!!!!!!!!!!! As most of you know, I live in the south for a reason. I like warm weather. But as I sat on the patio of a restaurant today I thought to myself: "I wish it were cold enough where I at least need a coat on." It's beautiful outside, but I'm over it. I want to wear my cute, black Jessica Simpson coat and my Burberry scarf. As I keep hearing from friends in Colorado about all teh snow they're getting it makes me want it to be cold even more. I know come March I'll be ready for warm weather, like I've stated before. But for the time being, I'm ready for it to be like this:

View from my parents' deck a few Christmases ago.

Libby in the snow.

Again, I'm really hoping we'll get a snow like this for Christmas because 1, white Christmases are best and 2, Christopher's never seen snow at Christmas. Here's hoping!

Christmas is coming because Starbucks says so!

Don't get me wrong. I love Thanksgiving. It's the kick-off of the holiday season and I refuse to put up Christmas decorations until the day after. In my case, it's later than that because I am always at my parents' house in Colorado. But I am so excited for Christmas this year! The first thing that gets me in the holiday spirit each year is...

However, another reason I am super excited for Christmas this year is...

Christopher is coming home with me for Christmas!!! This will be his first trip to Colorado. So everyone please pray that it snows this year. I really want him to experience a white Christmas.
